Reminder of AGM A reminder that the League's Annual General Meeting is to be held on Monday 28th June 2010. New Referees Course (September/October 2010) Ian McGrath, the Kent and Bromley Referees' Association Training Officer and an OBDSFL referee,
is planning a new Referees Course in September to cover the Orpington and Bromley areas.
The plan is that the course is on a Tuesday night from 7.30 to 9.30 pm throughout September and October.
Candidates will also have their first 3 games mentored by an experienced referee, as part of the course,
in order to help them with their early development.
This generally ensures that new referees are retained for longer after passing the examination.
If you are interested and/or have any "older" players or friends who are interested in taking up refereeing,
can they please contact Ian by e-mail at ian.mcgrath@hp.com
or by telephone (Home 01689 854681 or Mobile 07836 376129).
As the numbers that can attend are limited, Ian would appreciate that anyone who is interested in attending this course
contact him no later than 1st August 2010.

Latest News 16 and 17 year olds in Adult Football Please be aware that current FA Regulations allow players of 16 and 17 years of age to play in ADULT football leagues.
As persons of this age are classified in law as 'minors', any club using players of this age need to be aware of the
Child Protection Policy (Safeguarding Minors) and make every effort to ensure they adopt the policy standards.
It is not mandatory for clubs to have a trained and registered (with the County) a Child Welfare Officer although
this is recommended.
